报告题目： The minimal excludant and its connections with partition statistics

报告摘要： In 2019, Andrews and Newman defined the minimal excludant of an integer partition as the least positive integer missing from the partition. They also discovered the relation between the minimal excludant and the crank of partitions. In this talk, we find some relations between the minimal excludant and several partition statistics, such as rank of partitions. We also settle Ballantine and Merca's open problems by providing partition-theoretic interpretations for  those linear combinations of certain partition functions based on the minimal excludant.
